Windsor livestock auction market report for June 17

Receipts, 1,434 HD; 10% cows. With an offering less attractive then last week, steer and heifers sold mostly $3 to $6 lower. Slaughter cows sold $2 to $5 higher. 

Steers medium and large frame, 300 to 400 pounds, N/A; 400 to 500 pounds, $147 to $174: 500 to 600 pounds, $140 to $164.50; 600 to 700 pounds, $124 to $152; 700 to 800 pounds, $116 to $136.75; 800 to 900 pounds, $103 to $124.50.

Small frame or fleshy steers and bulls, 400 to 700 pounds, $105 to $146.

Heifers medium and large frame No. 1, 300 to 400 pounds, N/A; 400 to 500 pounds, $131 to $152; 500 to 600 pounds, $122 to $145; 600 to 700 pounds, $110 to $128; 700 to 800 pounds, $94 to $123; 800 to 900 pounds, N/A.

Small frame or fleshy heifers, 400 to 700 pounds, $85 to $123.

Weigh cows bulk, $65 to $70; high dressing, $70 to $70.50; low dressing, $58 back; bulls bulk, $90 to $102.
