The annual Mid-Missouri Artists Summer Exhibition is now open and ready for summer visitors in the University of Central Missouri Gallery of Art and Design, 217 E. Clark St. in Warrensburg. The exhibit opened May 30 and will be on view through July 2. Admission to the Gallery is free. Many of the works on exhibit are available for purchase.

This annual exhibition is limited to works by members of MMA and includes a variety of both two- and three-dimensional works. In addition to the MMA exhibit, a special exhibit of the creative works of JC Carter, on loan from the Warrensburg Arts Commission, will be on display in the Outer Gallery.

MMA is a non-profit, tax-exempt arts organization with members from 12 counties, but primarily from Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis and Henry counties. For more information, visit www.midmissouriartists.webs.com.
