One injured in overturn accident
A Johnson County overturn crash injured a Holden resident at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Sabrina L. Cole, 22, was turning right from Route 58 onto Southwest 1971st Road when Cole failed to negotiate the turn, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. Cole lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the left side of the roadway.
Cole’s vehicle then struck a ditch and overturned. It came to a rest on its top facing south.
Cole and an infant passenger, Paige A. Keys, of Holden, were both fastened in the car with seat belts. The baby was unhurt, but Cole suffered moderate injuries. The Johnson County Ambulance District took both to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
