Dollar General’s 2019 Circle of Excellence winners with senior leadership including Chief Executive Officer Todd Vasos, Executive Vice President of Store Operations Jeff Owen, Senior Vice President of Store Operations Steve Sunderland, and Vice President and Division Manager Connie Droge.

Dollar General recently recognized Tanya Meyer, store manager at store 11475 in Sweet Springs, with a 2019 Circle of Excellence award. At a ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee, Meyer was recognized for her commitment and exceptional contributions to Dollar General’s operating priorities and mission of Serving Others.

“Tanya embodies Dollar General’s mission of Serving Others every day through exceptional leadership of her store team,” said Dollar General Region Director Kelli Helzer. “She also works hard to provide an excellent experience for her employees, customers and community, and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to honor her with this award.”

The Circle of Excellence award is an annual organization-wide recognition to honor and celebrate employees who are making a difference in the communities Dollar General serves, demonstrating outstanding leadership and achieving exceptional business results. This year, 111 Dollar General employees from the Company’s Store Support Center, Distribution Centers and Field teams received the 2019 Circle of Excellence Award.
