Man swerves, crashes into fence
A man was injured in a single-vehicle crash after swerving to avoid an animal at 8:50 a.m. Thursday in Henry County.
William H. Fannon, 34, of Windsor, was eastbound on state Route 52 east of Northeast 951st Road when he encountered the animal in the roadway, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
He swerved and his vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway before overcorrecting. It then crossed off the right side of the road and struck a fence.
Fannon was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries. The Pettis County Ambulance District took him to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.
