March 2 Crash Reports

One hurt in Pettis airborne crash

A Cole Camp woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in Pettis County.

At 1:20 p.m., Tena F. Sidebottom, 41, was southbound on Route ZZ a half mile south of Route 52 when she traveled off the right side of the roadway, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. Her vehicle struck a bridge rail and became airborne.

She impacted two more bridge rails before her vehicle came to a rest on its wheels. Sidebottom suffered moderate injuries in the crash and went in a Cole Camp ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was wearing a seat belt during the accident.

Information is taken from preliminary Missouri State Highway Patrol and Sedalia Police Department reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved.
