One injured in Morgan crash

A Barnett man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 7:15 a.m. April 13 in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jeffrey K. Lumpe, 61, was driving south on state Route AA at Hillpoint Road when he failed to negotiate a left curve. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, slid, and struck an electrical pole. 

He suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. 

Four injured in Benton County crash

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 12:30 p.m. April 13 in Benton County

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hunter K. Jones, 22, of Cole Camp, was driving north on state Route B when he crossed the centerline. His vehicle struck another vehicle, driven by Rachel R. Weinberg, 45, of Cole Camp, nearly head on. 

Weinberg’s passenger, Anna M. Roberts, 22, of Lincoln, and Jones suffered serious injuries and were transported by Life Flight to University Hospital in Columbia. Weinberg and another passenger, Alyssa K. Wienberg, 21, of Cole Camp, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by ambulance.  

Teen injured in Benton crash

An Edwards teen suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 5:40 p.m. April 13 in Benton County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, William A. Shrock, 16, was driving west on state Route H, west of Butterfield Trail, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road. It crossed the center of the road, went off the left side of the road, struck an embankment, overturned, and struck a pole. 

Schrok suffered moderate injuries and was taken by Life Flight to University Hospital in Columbia.

Woman seriously injured in Pettis crash

A Sedalia woman suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 7 a.m. April 14 in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mericia M. Wilbanks, 19, was driving south on state Route U when she failed to negotiate a curve. Her vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a tree. 

She was transported by air ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Two injured in Moniteau County

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:30 p.m. April 14 in Moniteau County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Carl E. Ziehmer, 75, of California, was driving north on Lookout Trail when he attempted to make a left turn and turned into the path of another vehicle driven by Terry D. Matthews, 59, of California. 

Matthews suffered moderate injuries and his passenger, Mechelle L. Matthews, 53, of California, suffered minor injuries. Both were taken by ambulance to Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
