Two women hurt in Pettis crash
A crash in icy conditions on U.S. Route 65 left two women hurt in Pettis County at 10:05 a.m. Thursday.
Mary J. Sawyer, 44, of Galt, was driving north when she lost control on a wet and icy patch of the highway near Route CC, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. Her vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert and impacted in a ditch.
Sawyer and a passenger, Breanna A. Sawyer, 20, of Galt, were wearing seat belts and had minor injuries. Both went to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall by private vehicle.
