Three cars collide in Henry County
Two people were injured in a three-vehicle collision Thursday in Henry County.
The accident began as Toby L. Willcoxkson, 34, of Calhoun, was stopped on southbound state Route 13 at 3:38 p.m. to make a left turn onto Northwest 300th Road, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Christopher L. Turner, 50, of Lowry City, struck the rear of his vehicle. The impact pushed Willcoxkson’s car into the northbound lane where Jacob M. Heimsoth, 28, of Higginsville, struck him.
Turner and Willcoxkson both suffered minor injuries. Heimsoth was unhurt. Willcoxkson wasn’t wearing a seat belt and refused treatment at the scene. Turner, who had worn a seat belt, went in an ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.
