Centerview man hurt in wreck

A Centerview man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 3:48 p.m. Friday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Timothy D. Taylor, 44, was driving east on U.S. Highway 50 when he slowed to turn onto Northwest 475th Road. Another eastbound vehicle driven by Chauncey J. Schouten, 21, of Warrensburg, struck the rear of Taylor’s vehicle, causing both vehicles to travel off the road.

Taylor was taken by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.

Reports indicate both drivers were wearing a seat belt.

Two injured in Pettis crash

Two Sedalia residents suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 10:37 p.m. Saturday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cristian Rodriguez, 22, was driving east on U.S. Highway 50 east of Montgomery Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle and it began to slide. The vehicle slid across both lanes of traffic, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree. After the impact, it partially returned to the road and came to a rest in the left westbound lane.

Rodriguez was taken by the Pettis County Ambulance District to University Hospital in Columbia. A passenger, Jesus Hernandez, 30, was taken by Staff for Life air ambulance to University Hospital.

Reports indicate both occupants were not wearing a seat belt.

One injured in 3-vehicle crash

A Windsor, Vermont, child suffered moderate injuries in a three-vehicle accident at 8:30 a.m. Sunday in Saline County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, David Vines, 30, of Windsor, Vermont, was driving west on Interstate 70 at the 77.2-mile marker when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered road. His vehicle struck a westbound vehicle driven by Markice T. Hall, 42, of Aurora, Colorado. Hall’s vehicle then struck another westbound vehicle driven by Alberto M. Vega, 39, of Brownsville, Texas.

A passenger in Vines’ vehicle, Fiona L. Vines, 4, was taken by Sweet Springs Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Reports indicate all three drivers and the child were using a safety device.

Three hurt in Pettis crash

Three people suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 4:26 p.m. Sunday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jessica N. Coonce, 19, of Jamestown, was driving west on U.S. Highway 50 east of Rissler Road when she lost control of her vehicle. It slid into the eastbound lane, striking an eastbound vehicle driven by Matthew S. Glazener, 50, of Jefferson City.

Coonce, Glazener and a passenger in Glazener’s vehicle, Norbhe Glazener, 39, of Jefferson City, were all taken by the Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Reports indicate all three occupants were wearing a seat belt.

Warrensburg man hurt in wreck

A Warrensburg man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 10 p.m. Sunday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Alex R. Elliott, 33, was driving north on state Route 13 at Southwest 21st Road when he failed to negotiate a curve. His vehicle crossed the centerline, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a culvert.

Elliott, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.

Versailles woman seriously injured

A Versailles woman suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 6:55 a.m. Saturday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lisa G. Clark, 56, of Versailles, was driving north on state Route 5, a half mile south of state Route TT South Junction, when her vehicle slid off the left side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

Clark, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Woman hurt in Morgan

A Grain Valley woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 6:40 p.m. Saturday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Erica A. Gonzales, 30, was driving south on state Route 5, north of Prairie Valley Road, when she attempted to pass another vehicle. Her vehicle traveled off the left side of the road to avoid an oncoming vehicle and struck an embankment.

Gonzales, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries.
