This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Sedalia Police Department 

Arrests

April 14

8:57 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a report of trespassing. An employee said she had told the trespasser to leave, but they had been discovered in a different part of the hospital. Justin C. Bowlin, 46, of Lincoln, was arrested on a charge of first-degree trespassing. 

April 19 

12:59 a.m.: An officer stopped two subjects who were walking in the roadway, with sidewalks available, on South Thompson Avenue, south of East Ninth Street. The subject initially gave a false name and a marijuana pipe with marijuana residue and a scale with methamphetamine residue was located on them. Isaac W. Anderson, 43, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and identity theft. 

9:42 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to a business in the 3000 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to several subjects being intoxicated in the business. The officers spoke to the subjects and a computer check revealed one had a warrant out of Pettis County and was found in possession of marijuana. Corey D. Elder, 55, of the 4000 block of West Main Street, was arrested for the warrant and a charge of misdemeanor possession of marijuana. 

Incidents

April 15

8:44 p.m.: Officers responded to the 300 block of North Park Avenue for a report of a burglary. The victim said electronic equipment valued at $1,475 and a gun valued at $160 was stolen from inside their residence. Witnesses were able to provide suspect information. The incident is still under investigation. 

April 16 

9:19 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of East 25th Street in reference to a theft. The victim reported that a Generac Generator valued at $3,000 had been taken from their residence overnight.

Arrest

April 6

Deputies along with the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force conducted a vehicle stop on a vehicle in the area of Ninth Street and Grand Avenue. During the stop, Tyree D. Scott, of Sedalia, was arrested for possession of marijuana.

April 16

6:07 p.m.: Russell E. See, 32, of Eldon, was arrested in Moniteau County on charges of careless and imprudent driving, driving while intoxicated (drugs), and interference with legal process.
