Arrests

Jan. 18

12:05 p.m.: Fred E. Sisemore III, 39, of the 400 block of East Sixth Street, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance in a county jail and driving with a suspended license. An officer was searching for Sisemore in a careless and imprudent driving case. Sisemore had reportedly been asleep at the wheel and almost hit a witness with his vehicle after waking. The officer found Sisemore at East Ninth Street and South New York Avenue and arrested him on a charge of driving with a suspended license. During the arrest, the officer reportedly found Sisemore to be in possession of a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. The officer also reported a bag of marijuana was found concealed on Sisemore’s person when he entered the Pettis County Jail.

Incidents

Jan. 18

2:20 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a report of a theft. The caller said security camera footage showed a suspect came into the store about 5:50 a.m. and stole an HP laptop computer worth $699. The suspect left in a two-toned 1990s model Ford F-150.

Jan. 20

8:50 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a business in the 700 block of East Broadway Boulevard. A pedestrian said someone had attempted to rob her. She said two men attacked her with the intention of stealing from her, but they didn’t end up taking anything. An investigation is ongoing.

Arrests

Jan. 18

2:25 p.m.: Jamie L. Langton, 32, of Gladstone, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and driving without a license. Troopers also served a misdemeanor warrant from Pettis County.

2:45 p.m.: Allen E. Peek, 30, of Calhoun, was arrested in Henry County on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 20

12:30 p.m.: Christopher T. Moore, 63, of Warrensburg, was arrested in Johnson County on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in an accident.
