Sept. 21

2:20 a.m.: Bobby L. Clark, 37, of the 32000 block of Backbone Road, was arrested on charges of felony third-degree domestic assault and misdemeanor violation of a protection order. Khristy Lynnel Clark, 46, of the 1400 block of South Stewart Avenue, was arrested on a charge of felony third-degree domestic assault. Officers responded to the 1000 block of West Third Street to investigate a report of a violation of an ex-parte protection order. They made contact with Bobby and Khristy Clark, who said they had physically assaulted each other. The officers arrested each suspect on a domestic violence charge. They also took Clark into custody on an added charge of violating a protection order.

Incidents

Sept. 19

2 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the Pettis County Jail for a follow-up on an incident that happened earlier in the morning. The victim had written a statement, and the offer later noticed the statement contradicted the original report. He met with the victim in the emergency room at Bothwell Regional Health Center. She said a suspect pushed her down cement stairs, punched her multiple times and choked her. The officer noticed the victim had redness and swelling around her eyes, bruising on the right side of her jaw, and multiple scrapes and scratch marks on her arms and legs.

Sept. 20

1:40 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of South Engineer Avenue for an assault. The victim said two male suspects knocked on the front door of the residence. While he was talking with one of the suspects, the second suspect punched him on the left side of his jaw. The victim said he couldn’t remember anything else that happened besides him spitting up blood.

9:50 a.m.: An officer met with a complainant in the police station lobby. He said someone he knew had stolen his debit card and withdrew $203 from his bank account. The suspect attempted to use the card several other times, but it was reportedly denied. The officer is requesting charges against the suspect of stealing and fraudulent use of a debit device.

10:15 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of West 10th Street for a report of a stolen lawn mower. He made contact with the victim, who said someone stole his riding lawn mower sometime between 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday morning. The mower was a Poulan Pro worth about $900.

12:25 p.m.: An officer responded to the 1600 block of South Lamine Avenue to investigate a reported burglary. The victim said someone entered his home sometime in the previous three days and took a bag containing about $600 worth of items. The officer had no suspects at the time of the report.

4:05 p.m.: An employee of a rental business came to the police station and made four reports of suspects failing to return stolen property. The suspects had failed to make payments as their rental agreements specified. The reporting officer is seeking charges for all four reports.

6:45 p.m.: An officer spoke in the police station lobby with a subject who wanted to report harassment and a violation of an ex-parte protection order. The subject said her ex-boyfriend was violating an ex-parte protection order and harassing her by sending her unwanted messages and using a third party to communicate with her. The officer hadn’t located the suspect at the time of the report but is requesting state charges.

8:40 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of South Barrett Avenue for a domestic assault. The victim said the suspect came to the residence that night and was upset. She said he collected his belongings and started to leave. He tried slamming the door shut, opened it again and punched her in the mouth. The victim had a cut on the inside of her lower lip, and the plate for her false teeth was broken.

7:10 p.m.: Deputies took a report of fraudulent use of a credit device.

9 p.m.: Deputies took a report of an assault in Sedalia.
