On Tuesday, the Pettis County Health Center reported additional statistics for its Monday active cases report.
In the Pettis County COVID-19 Task Force briefing issued Monday, the Health Center reported 4,077 total confirmed cases. On Tuesday, the Health Center reported that includes 438 active cases and 3,588 residents have been released to normal activity. Ten residents are now hospitalized seeking treatment for the virus.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported a seven-day total of 13,368 cases on Tuesday or an average of 1,910 per day. There were a total of 57 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Missouri during the last seven days, representing an average of eight deaths per day.
