Mr. and Mrs. Larry Barb, of Green Ridge, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a "Come and Go Reception" hosted by their children from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 18 at the Green Ridge Baptist Church Fellowship Hallin Green Ridge. The couple request no gifts.
Debbie Rector and Larry Barb were married July 24, 1971, at the Corder Baptist Church in Corder.
Mr. Barb is retired from the Green Ridge R-VIII School District with 42 years of service as teacher, coach, and bus driver. Mrs. Barb retired following 33-plus years as church secretary at First Baptist Church in Windsor.
They have two children, Chris (Stacy) Barb, of Strafford, and Eric (Kelly) Barb, of Jefferson City; and four grandsons.
