Dresden 4-H Club

Reagan Sneed called the Dresden 4-H Club meeting to order at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18 at the La Monte United Methodist Church.

During 4-H Week, the club sponsored a window display at Crown Power in La Monte. The club appreciates Crown Power for allowing them to display at their business. Sharon Bruner and Kay Sparks gave an overview of the Pettis County 4-H Leaders meeting. The club reviewed its goals for 2020-21 and discussed adding a presentation on internet safety.

Sparks, Dresden 4-H Club co-leader, presented the Dresden 4-H Club constitution and bylaws. Some additions were discussed, and these additions will be voted on at the November meeting.

Sparks also gave a demonstration on how to properly give a demonstration. She provided visuals of previous club member demonstrations and hand-outs for future reference.

The next meeting will be at 5 p.m. Nov. 15 at the La Monte Methodist Church.

Club minutes were submitted by Austin Wood, Dresden 4-H Club reporter.
