Pettis County added 23 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 4,917, according to the Pettis County Health Center. 

There are now 40 active cases and 4,802 residents have been released to normal activity. Four residents are now hospitalized seeking treatment for the virus. The Health Center also reported four deaths attributed to COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to 75.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported a seven-day total of 4,227 confirmed cases on Wednesday for an average of 604 per day. There were a total of 13 deaths attributed to COVID-19 in Missouri during the last seven days, representing an average of two deaths per day. There were a total of 162,905 vaccinations administered in the last seven days in Missouri, representing an average of 23,272 per day.
