Stover woman seriously injured in Morgan crash

Maida A. Korang, 45, of Stover, received serious injuries in an accident at 9:40 p.m. Thursday in Morgan County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Korang was in a 2001 Infiniti driving east on Route J at Route 5 in heavy fog when she traveled through the intersection and across Route 5. Her vehicle became airborne, struck the ground and came to rest against a tree. 

She was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital. Korang was not wearing a seat belt.

16-year-old injured in Pettis two-car crash

A 16-year-old female from Sedalia received minor injuries in an accident at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a westbound 2010 Ford Fusion driven by David V. Lupandin, 19, of Sedalia, was traveling in the 21000 block of Palmer Road when he crossed the center line and struck a 2008 Ford Fusion driven by the 16-year-old.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. The injured juvenile sought her own treatment.
