Warrensburg woman hurt in Johnson accident
Christina R. Allen, 53, of Warrensburg, received minor injuries at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in a Johnson County two-car crash.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Allen was driving a 2015 Cadillac Escalade south on state Route 13 at Northwest 435th when a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by Laranda K. McFadden, 24, of Bethany, approached from behind at a high rate of speed. McFadden traveled off the roadway, returned to the roadway and struck Allen’s Cadillac. The Santa Fe traveled off the roadway again and came to rest in a ditch; the Cadillac came to a controlled stop in an adjacent driveway.
Allen sought medical attention by private vehicle. Both drivers were wearing a seat belt.
Sedalia man hurt in Pettis accident
Gage D. Kabler, 19, of Sedalia, received minor injuries at 8 p.m. Thursday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Kabler was driving south on Carpenter Road north of McGee Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and began sliding. His car crossed the centerline of the road and Kabler overcorrected, causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway, striking a tree.
He was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance District.
3 hurt in Pettis accident
Kayla M. Pruitt, 26, of Sedalia, and a 9-year-old female from Sedalia received minor injuries, and Amanda S. Jack, 39, of Green Ridge, also received minor injuries at 5:08 p.m. Thursday in a Pettis County two-car crash.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Acura driven by Amanda Jack was westbound on Bagby Road at Camp Branch Road and a 2012 Mazda driven by Jonathan D. Pruitt, 28, of Sedalia, was southbound, when Jack failed to stop at a stop sign, causing her vehicle to strike Pruett's Mazda.
The 9-year-old, Kayla Pruitt, and Amanda Jack were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance District.
Jonathan Pruitt and Kayla Pruitt were not wearing a seat belt. The 9-year-old and Amanda Jack were wearing a seat belt.
