Two Gravois Mills teens hurt in Morgan accident

A 17-year-old male from Gravois Mills sustained moderate injuries, and a 15-year-old male  from Gravois Mills sustained serious injuries at 1:33 p.m. Saturday in the Morgan County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the 17-year-old was driving a 1991 Cadillac DeVille west on Troutdale Road when he traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Neither teen was wearing a seat belt, and both were taken to University Hospital in Columbia by air ambulance.

Slater man in serious condition after Saline accident

Lester A. Bryant, 72, of Slater, sustained serious injuries at 4:35 p.m. Friday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Bryant was traveling north on Highway 240 at 270th Road in a 2004 Ford truck when he tried to pass several vehicles behind a piece of farm equipment. The farm equipment turned left in front of Bryant.

It is unknown if Bryant was wearing a seat belt. He was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by Life Flight.
