Sedalia man, girl killed, two seriously injured in Florida crash 

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, on Thursday afternoon, a 16-year-old female and a 32-year-old man were killed in a crash on I-10 near Tallahassee, Florida. 

The driver, a 19-year-old man, and another passenger, a 31-year-old woman, suffered serious injuries, FHP says. According to the crash report, the driver lost control of the vehicle after veering off of the road, the vehicle overturned in the inside eastbound lane then turned upright onto the grassy median. It was a single-vehicle crash. 

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Jefferson Fire Rescue helped FHP at the scene. 

All the people in the vehicle were from Sedalia, Missouri.

Two men injured in Johnson crash

Cole J. Stauch, 21, of Kingsville, and Eli A. Vanatta, 19, of Pleasant Hill, were injured at 9:11 p.m. Thursday in a Johnson County crash. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Vanatta was driving south on Route W south of Northwest 450th Road, in a 2009 Chevrolet Impala, when he began braking, crossed the centerline, traveled off the right side of the roadway striking the ditch, two trees, and a fence. 

It is not known if Vanatta was wearing a seat belt. He received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. Stauch was wearing a seat belt and received moderate injuries. He was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. 

Warrensburg woman injured in Johnson accident

Miyawadee Luker, 42, of Warrensburg, received moderate injuries 9:15 p.m. Thursday in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Luker was headed north in a 2017 Ford Expedition on 416 Southeast 251st Road when she traveled off the left side of the roadway striking the ditch and overturning. 

She was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Warrensburg woman hurt in Johnson crash

Cassidy A. Macintosh, 22, of Warrensburg, received minor injuries at 4:46 a.m. in a Johnson County crash. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Macintosh was traveling east on U.S. 50 at Northwest 1601st Road, when a deer entered the roadway and was struck by her vehicle. 

Macintosh was transported by a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office deputy to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Columbia man injured in Saline crash

Cameron J. Quinn, 19, of Columbia, received minor injuries at 4:30 a.m. in a Saline County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Quinn was traveling west on Highway 240 east of Silver Avenue in a 2010 Ford Crown Victoria when he crossed the centerline, went off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. 

He was transported by Saline County Emergency Medical Services to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall. He was not wearing a seat belt.
