Two injured in Johnson accident

Michelle M. Daniels, 56, of Concordia, sustained moderate injuries and a 15-year-old male from Concordia received minor injuries at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Toyota Sienna driven south on Highway 23 near Highway E by John M. Church, 55, of Sedalia, was turning and was struck by a 1996 Nissan Maxima driven north by Daniels.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt. Daniels and the juvenile occupant were transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Marshall man hurt in Pettis accident

Albert A. Mitchell, 57, of Marshall, sustained minor injuries at 11:59 a.m. Tuesday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sean M. Travis, 34, of Marshall, was in a 2003 Cadillac Escalade stopped at a red light in the southbound lane of U.S. Highway 65 at Rebar Road when he was rear-ended by a 2005 Ford Explorer driven by Kamron L. Gilmore, 18, of Tipton.

Gilmore was wearing a seat belt, though Mitchell was not and was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center. Evelyn N. Payne, 39, of Marshall, an occupant in the Cadillac who was wearing a seat belt, was uninjured.

Three from Sedalia hurt in Pettis accident

Maria J. Velasquez Gonzales, 48, Adrian I. Estrada, 47, and Ricardo M. Guzman, 51, all of Sedalia, sustained minor injuries at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday in a Pettis County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2015 International driven by Chad J. Forsythe, 47, of Warsaw, attempted to change lanes, striking a 2006 Honda driven by Velazquez Gonzales. 

Everyone was wearing seat belts. Velasquez Gonzalez and Guzman were transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
