Two hurt in Johnson crash
Kenneth R. Stevens, 65, of Buckner, received minor injuries and Stacey R. Webb, 40, of Buckner, also received minor injuries at 6:33 p.m. Wednesday in a Johnson County crash.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Stevens was driving a 2002 Buick LeSabre West on U.S. Highway 50 at state Route 13 when the vehicle hydroplaned and traveled off the right side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected and traveled off the roadway, traveled on to the left side, entered the median and struck an embankment.
Though both passengers were wearing seat belts, Webb was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. Stephens refused treatment at the scene.
