Jonathan Hernandez, 30, of Sedalia, was killed at 8:59 a.m. Saturday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hernandez was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Impala on Cedar Drive at Gresham Road and failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to travel off the left side of the roadway, striking a ditch, and a telephone pole before returning to the road.
Hernandez was wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Wassam.
Colleen F. Wisner, 33, of Clinton, was killed and James L. Bowe, 78, of Creighton, suffered moderate injuries at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in a Henry County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Bowe was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe east on state Route 7 north of Northwest 1401 Road when he crested a hill and struck an International Harvester tractor driven east by Wisner, who was ejected.
Bowe was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville by Golden Valley ambulance. Wisner was exempt from wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare by Dr. John Brown.
Jacob A. Martinez, 33, of Versailles, was killed at 11:30 p.m. Friday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Martinez was driving a 2003 Honda CBR 954 south on Route W when he crossed the center of the roadway, started to skid, overturned, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a sign and was ejected.
He was wearing a helmet. Martinez was pronounced dead on scene by Deputy Corner Hunter Denman.
Donald K. Adkins, 50, and Louis R. Moreland, 63, both of Clinton, sustained serious injuries at 6:10 p.m. Sunday in a Henry County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Moreland was driving a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette east on Northeast 100 Road, west of 201 Road, when he lost control, causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway, strike an embankment, become airborne and overturn.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Adkins was transported by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. Moreland was transported by Golden Valley ambulance to Research Medical Center.
A 4-year-old girl from Stover sustained minor injuries, and a 7-year-old boy from Stover sustained moderate injuries at 1:44 p.m. Saturday in a Moniteau county accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sabrah N. Charles, 31, of Stover, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban east on U.S. Highway 50 at Calico Road when she traveled off the right side of the roadway. She over-corrected, causing the vehicle to return to the roadway and then off the left side of the roadway. The driver over-corrected again, bringing the vehicle back off the right side of the roadway and it overturned.
Both children were wearing restraints. The 4-year-old was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach; the 7-year-old was also transported to Lake Regional.
Devin R. Nelson, 43, of Lake Ozark, sustained moderate injuries at 12:43 p.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol, Nelson was driving a 2016 EG Cycles Real Street motorcycle north on Route W north of Route AA when he experienced a mechanical malfunction. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.
He was wearing a helmet and was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
Grace K. Thompson, 21, and Mary E. Thompson, 45, both of Otterville, sustained minor injuries at 4:18 p.m. Sunday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mary Thompson was driving a 1997 Ford F150 east on U.S. Highway 50 at Hogan Road and was slowing to turn left when Dakota J. Scott, 19, of Kansas City, driving a 2006 Volvo S40 east, failed to observe Thompson slowing and struck the rear of her vehicle.
Everyone was wearing a seat belt. Grace and Mary were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Mid-Mo Ambulance District.
