Sedalia woman receives moderate injuries in Saline crash
A Sedalia woman received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 7:25 p.m. Aug 8 at Wildcat Road at 250th Road in Saline County.
According to a Missouri Highway Patrol report, Samantha J. Byers, 22, of Sedalia, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet when she drove off the roadway at a high rate of speed, struck an embankment, overturned and was ejected.
A male occupant in the vehicle, Kalib T. Richardson, 23, of Marshall, received minor injuries. Byers was transported by Saline County EMS to University Hospital in Columbia. Richardson was transported by Saline County EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
