A woman receives moderate injuries in Saline accident
Tara N. Hopkins, 33, of Miami, Missouri, received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 9:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 9 at state Highway 41, one mile north of state Route NN.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hopkins, who was driving a 2017 Jeep, struck a television in the roadway, causing the front passenger-side tire to blow. Hopkins then lost control of the vehicle, drove off the east side of the roadway, struck a utility pole and overturned.
She was transported by Saline County Ambulance District to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
