Two women injured in Johnson accident

Sharon A. Miller, 79, of Warrensburg, sustained moderate injuries and Krysten A. Ford, 23, of Odessa, sustained minor injuries at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Miller pulled onto U.S. Highway 50 from West Young Street and struck a 2017 Chevrolet Spark driven by Ford. 

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. 

17-year-old girl hurt in Morgan accident

A juvenile female occupant from Stover sustained minor injuries at 11:20 p.m. Aug. 2 in a Morgan County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Kia Sorento driven by a 17-year-old female, also from Stover, was headed east on Cottonwood Road West of Bridge Lane. The 17-year-old girl riding on top of the vehicle fell off and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by private vehicle. 

Edwards woman hurt in Morgan accident

Sterling P. Vancamp, 30, of Edwards, sustained minor injuries at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday in a Morgan County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Vancamp was driving a 2017 Ford Fusion south on Big Buffalo Road and turned into the path of a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Patricia Sanders, 72, of Stover.

Both drivers were wearing a seat belt. Vancamp was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by EMS.

Sedalia woman injured in Pettis accident

Shanna D. Johnson, 42, of Sedalia, sustained moderate injuries at 8:23 a.m. Saturday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Johnson was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu south on U.S. Highway 65 north of Turkey Creek when she traveled off the left side of the road, struck a guardrail, traveled off the right side of the road, struck a bridge wall, then traveled off the left side of the road and struck a bridge wall. She traveled off the right side of the road again and struck a guardrail. The vehicle then traveled off the left side of the roadway before coming to rest in the median.

Johnson was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
