Clinton woman seriously injured in Henry accident

Susan M. Stevenson, 69, of Clinton, received serious injuries at 5:50 p.m. Thursday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Stevenson was driving north on state Route 7 at Water Street in a 2005 Hyundai Accent when she failed to yield to a 2012 Freightliner driven by Angel L. Gainza, 44, of Amarillo, Texas.

She was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. She was transported by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

17-year-old from Appleton City seriously injured in Henry crash

A 17-year-old male from Appleton City received serious injuries at 10:55 p.m. Thursday in a Henry County crash.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the juvenile was driving south on state Route 52 in a 1998 Buick when he left the roadway and his vehicle overturned. The juvenile was ejected.

He was transported by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. He was not wearing a seat belt.

Chilhowee man killed in Johnson motorcycle accident

Billy J. Fields, 59, of Chilhowee, was killed and Christina M. Worthington, 37, of Holden, received minor injuries at 10:48 a.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Worthington crossed the center line and struck Fields' 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 head-on.

Fields, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead on the scene by deputy coroner Mike Coleman. He was transported to Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home. Worthington, who was also wearing a seat belt, was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Marshall woman hurt in Pettis accident

Grace Ulbrich, 19, Marshall, received minor injuries at 5:54 p.m. Thursday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred as Ulbrich was headed south in a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu on U.S. Highway 65 at Rebar Road and struck the rear of a 2016 Cadillac Escalade driven by Rhonda Hieronymus, 63, of Marshall, who traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Ulbrich was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Clinton man seriously injured in Pettis accident

Joseph W. Jacobson, 18, of Clinton, received serious injuries at 1:15 a.m. Friday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jacobson was driving east on Route B north of Iris Road in a 1992 GMC when he failed to negotiate a curve and his vehicle traveled off the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.

It is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt. He was transported to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia by Pettis County Ambulance District. 

Marshall man seriously hurt in Saline accident

Michael A. Miller, 62, of Marshall, received serious injuries at 1:40 a.m. Friday in a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Miller was driving east on state Route 240 in a 2006 Chevrolet when he left the roadway and overturned.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Life Flight to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
