Warsaw man injured in Benton motorcycle accident
William W. Box, 68, of Warsaw, was moderately injured at 4:40 p.m. Aug. 25 in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Box was driving south on state Route 83 at Shady Oaks Avenue on a 1995 Suzuki when he experienced a malfunction, lost control, and overturned.
He was wearing a helmet and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton by the Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District.
Iowa man seriously injured in Benton ATV accident
Ryan A.Travis, 34, of Chariton, Iowa, received serious injuries and Ronald S. Burgett, 34, of Chariton, Iowa, received minor injuries at 10 p.m. Friday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Travis was driving east on Bush Drive at Solomon Circle in a 2019 Honda Talon when he traveled off the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree, ejecting both driver and occupant.
Burgett was treated at the scene, Travis was transported by air ambulance to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. Neither man was using a safety device.
Cole Camp woman hurt in Morgan County DWI accident
Jamie J. Ritcheson, 38, of Cole Camp, received minor injuries at 2 a.m. Friday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ritcheson was driving west on state Route 52 at Cottonwood Drive in a 2005 Saturn Ion when she traveled off the right side of the road, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and struck two small trees.
She was transported by private vehicle to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
She was not wearing a seat belt and was arrested and released on summons for driving while intoxicated.
