Warsaw man seriously injured in Benton motorcycle accident
Brian L. Birdsong, 34, of Warsaw, received serious injuries at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Birdsong was driving south on Route MM at Quail Ridge Road in a 1982 Honda cm450 when he traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.
He was not wearing a helmet and was transported by LifeFlight Eagle to University Hospital in Columbia.
Stover man injured in Morgan accident
Kevin M. Chrisman, 33, of Stover, received moderate injuries at 9:45 p.m. Monday in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Chrisman was driving north on Highway 135 in a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, crossed the center of the roadway, overcorrected again, began skidding and sliding, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a fence, and overturned.
Chrisman was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Missouri State Highway Patrol personnel. He was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated, felony driving with a revoked license, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, and no seat belt.
He was transported to the Morgan County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
