Illinois woman hurt in Lake of the Ozarks boating accident
Janice M. Frederick, 66, of Hickory Hills, Illinois, received minor injuries at 11:53 a.m. Wednesday in a Morgan County boating accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, John W. Frederick, 69, of Hickory Hills, Illinois, was driving south on Lake of the Ozarks at the 6-mile marker of the Osage arm when he struck a large wake from an unknown vessel, causing him and his passenger to impact the vessel.
It is unknown if the Fredericks were wearing seat belts, but Janice Fredrick was transported via Morgan County ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
