Versailles man hurt in deer strike
David E. Perkins, 65, of Versailles, sustained minor injuries at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday in a Moniteau County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Perkins was driving a 2021 Ford Ranger east on Route C near Pine Road when he struck a deer that entered his path and traveled off the right side of the roadway.
He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Capital Regional Hospital in Jefferson City by Mid-Mo Ambulance District.
Marshall man hurt in Saline accident
Michael A. Redmon, 32, of Marshall, sustained minor injuries at 12:25 p.m. Friday in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Redmon was driving a 2007 Ford north on Highway YY and traveled off the roadway, striking a culvert.
He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
