Three injured in Morgan crash

Three people were injured, two seriously, in a crash at 5:35 p.m. Friday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gary M. Cook, 79, of Stover, was driving westbound on state Route 52 when he tried to make a left turn onto state Route FF and traveled into the path of another eastbound vehicle driven by Ashley M. Harrison, 29, of Versailles. Harrison’s vehicle struck Cook’s.

Harrison and her 10-year-old passenger both suffered serious injuries. Her 9-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. All three were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia by ambulance.

One injured in Johnson crash

A man was injured in a crash at 8 a.m. Saturday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Izrael N. Bonds, 23, of Warrensburg, was driving westbound on U.S. Route 50 when a northbound vehicle on Northwest 151st Road, driven by William R. King, 65, of Gravois Mills, failed to yield to him. Bonds’ vehicle struck King’s, causing both vehicles to travel off the roadway.

King suffered minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by private vehicle.

Three seriously injured in Morgan crash

Three people were seriously injured in a single vehicle crash at 11 p.m. Saturday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lisa G. Porter, 52, of Lebanon, was driving northbound on state Route D, north of Woodcraft Road, when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a stump and overturned.

Porter suffered moderate injuries. Her passengers, Travis D. Francis, 29, of Camdenton, Bobby R. Francis, 33, of Lebanon, and Darla R. Teiberis, 54, of Lebanon, all suffered serious injuries. All four were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia by Mid-Missouri Ambulance District.

Man arrested for DWI in Morgan crash

Two individuals were injured, one seriously, in a crash at 3:40 p.m. Sunday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, William M. Smith, 57, of Rocky Mount, was driving westbound on Brendell Boulevard, west of state Route Y, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Smith suffered moderate injuries and his passenger, Edward L. Shultz, 68, of Iowa, suffered serious injuries. Both were taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by the Mid-Mo Ambulance District.

Smith was arrested in Morgan County for driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and failure to register a motor vehicle.
