Sedalia woman hurt in Johnson crash

A Sedalia woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 6:35 a.m. Saturday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Emily A. Rogers, 20, was driving south in the 900 block of Northwest state Route 131 when her vehicle traveled off the road and struck a mailbox and a tree.

Rogers, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence with minor injuries.

Edwards man arrested for DWI

An Edwards man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle accident at 9:27 p.m. Sunday in Benton County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dakota L. Generaux, 23, was driving east on Poorboy Road at state Route M when his vehicle traveled off the road, struck a fence and a tree, then came to rest on a utility pole.

Generaux, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia with moderate injuries.

According to an MSHP arrest report, Generaux was also arrested for driving with a revoked license, lane violation resulting in a crash, and seat belt violation.
