One injured in two-vehicle crash

A woman was injured in a crash at 5:57 p.m. Friday in Benton County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Melissa S. Pitts, 30, of Lincoln, was driving westbound on state Route 52 at Moriarity Avenue when he failed to maintain a safe distance to another westbound vehicle driven by Carol J. Lange, 78, of Cole Camp. Lange slowed to turn, causing Pitts’ vehicle to strike hers.

Lange suffered minor injuries and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia by private vehicle.

Three injured in Johnson crash

Three individuals were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:55 p.m. Saturday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Andrew A. Gosney, 50, of Nixa, was driving southbound on state Route 23, north of state Route DD, when they came to a stop in the roadway, waiting to make a turn. Another southbound vehicle driven by Moses J. Debraska, 25, of Knob Noster, failed to stop and struck their vehicle in the rear.

Debraska, Gosney and Gosey’s juvenile passenger all suffered minor injuries and were all taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by the Johnson County Ambulance District. 

One seriously injured in tractor accident

A man was seriously injured in an accident at 2 p.m. Sunday on a private road in Henry County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jacob C. Builderback, 84, of Clinton, was with a tractor in the 1100 block of Southeast 500 Road when his vehicle came out of park and began to roll. Builderback attempted to regain control of the tractor and was struck by the vehicle.

Builderback was seriously injured and was taken to St. Luke's East Hospital in Lee’s Summit by air EMS.
