Allona J. Hawkins, 40, of Clinton suffered serious injuries, and Matthew T. Ribby, 35, of Clinton suffered moderate injuries at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in a Henry County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report Ribby was driving a 1995 Ford F-150 south on Route W when he ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert, an embankment and a tree.
Both occupants were wearing seatbelts, Ribby was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Hawkins was transported to Research Hospital in Kansas City.
Ribby was arrested for driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain the right half of the roadway. He was released.
