Male injured in Pettis County accident

A 40-year-old male passenger from Sedalia suffered serious injuries in an accident at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 56-year-old female from Sedalia was driving a 2002 Dodge Neon northbound on U.S. 65 at Rebar RD when she collided with a 2016 Ford Explorer driven by a 70-year-old male from Sedalia.

Both drivers were wearing a seatbelt.

The 40-year-old male, who was a passenger in the Explorer, was transported by the Pettis County Ambulance District to University Hospital in Columbia. It is unknown if he was wearing a seatbelt.

Driver injured after rollover accident

A 62-year-old male from Marshall suffered minor injuries in an accident at 12:44 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, in Saline County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the male was driving a 2016 Mazda southbound at U.S. Highway 65 and Golden Avenue when he attempted to swerve to avoid an animal, crossed he centerline, left the roadway and overturned.

He was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by EMS.

Man hurt in Morgan County Accident

An adult male from Eldon suffered minor injuries in an accident a 7:40 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, in Morgan County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the male was driving a 2015 Toyota Scion eastbound on Missouri Route 52 150 feet west of Beacon Lane when he struck the rear of a 2006 Honda Ridgeline driven by a 32-year-0ld male from Rocky Mount.

The 32-year-old male was not wearing a seatbelt.

The 21-year-old male was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance.

Man strikes ditch in Johnson County accident

An adult male from Warrensburg suffered minor injuries in a single vehicle accident in Johnson County at 11:35 p.m Sunday, Dec. 22.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the male was driving a 2017 Toyota eastbound on U.S. 50 Highway at NE 651 RD when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.

He was transported by Trooper D J Harms to Western Missouri Medical Center.

The age of the male and whether he was wearing a seatbelt is unknown, according to the preliminary crash report.

Man, child injured in Johnson County Accident

A 72-year-old male from Colony, Kansas suffered moderate injuries and a 4-year-old male from Colony, Kansas suffered minor injuries in an accident in Johnson County at 12:09 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 72-year-old was driving a 2007 Ford Fusion westbound in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 50 Highway at Missouri Highway AA when he attempted to make a u-turn in the median and struck a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 24-year-old male from Otterville.

The driver of the Silverado was wearing a seatbelt. No injuries were listed.

The 4-year-old male, who was a passenger of the Fusion, was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District.

It is unknown if the 72-year-old male was wearing a seatbelt. He was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by the Johnson County Ambulance District.

Woman hurt after overturning in Henry County

A 26-year-old female from Garden City suffered minor injuries in accident at 12:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, in Henry County.

According the the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the female was driving a 2000 Jeep Cherokee southbound on Route O a tenth of a mile north of Route N when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned coming a rest on its wheels.

The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Golden Valley Hospital by Golden Valley EMS.

Woman hurt in single-vehicle accident

A 24-year-old female from California suffered minor injuries in an accident at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25, in Moniteau County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the female was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Equinox southbound on Missouri Route 5 at Route NN when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail, and traveled off the left side of the roadway striking a embankment and a utility box.

The female was transported by Mid-Missouri Ambulance District to Capital Region Hospital.
