A 78-year--old woman from Lincoln suffered moderate injuries at 5:50 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, in a Benton County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving a 2005 Toyota Sienna north on U.S. Highway 65, north of Route T, when she traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a mailbox and overturned.
She was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Warsaw - Lincoln Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
A 26-year-old woman from Kansas City suffered a serious injuries, a 29-year-old woman from Sedalia suffered minor injuries, a 48-year-old man from Knob Noster suffered minor injuries, a 54-year-old man from Warrensburg suffered moderate injuries, a female 54-year-old woman from Cole Camp suffered minor injuries, and a 62-year-old man from Cole Camp suffered minor injuries at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, in a Johnson County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report the crash occurred as a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 54 year old Warrensburg man east on US 50 began a right turn and was struck by a 2018 Ram 1500 also driven east by a 62-year-old man from Cole Camp. The Ram traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch.
Everyone was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
A 19-year-old man from Camdenton suffered moderate injuries at 11:10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, in a Morgan County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2001 Chevrolet S10 east on Old Hwy YY at Dawn Road when he traveled through the intersection and off the east side of the roadway. He then struck two parked cars and a house before coming to rest.
He was reportedly wearing a seat belt and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Mid-MO ambulance District.
A 17-year-old driver was killed and his 18 year old occupant suffered moderate injuries At 10:55 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the 17-year-old was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado east on Smasal Road east of Welliver Road when he traveled off the roadway and struck a creek embankment.
Neither teen was wearing a seat belt, the deceased 17-year-old was pronounced dead on scene by a paramedic Charisse Bower and released to Heckard Funeral Home. The 18-year-old was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance District.
