Versailles trucker hurt in Morgan County accident

James W. Bruner, 35, of Versailles suffered minor injuries at 6:35 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Bruner was driving a 2007 Sterling LT 9500 east on Route C when he suffered a mechanical issue and traveled off the right side of the roadway. He overcorrected, crossed the roadway, traveled off the left side and overturned.

Bruner was wearing a seat belt, and was transported by Mid-MO Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Versailles teen hurt in Morgan County mishap

A 17-year-old man from Versailles suffered minor injury at 4:16 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was an occupant in a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 16-year-old male from Versailles east on Fairgrounds Road. As the vehicle entered a curve it crossed the center of the road, ran off the left side of the road and collided with a ditch causing it to rotate and roll over.

Both teens were wearing seat belts, the injured 17-year-old was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Mid-MO Ambulance District.
