Windsor woman hurt in accident

A Windsor woman suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Justin T. Lindsey, 30, of Windsor, was driving west on state Route 52, east of state Route E, when his vehicle experienced a mechanical failure and was struck in the rear by another westbound vehicle driven by Gloria M. Taylor, 30.

Taylor, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by the Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center for her injuries.

Sedalia man killed in accident

A Sedalia man was killed in a two-vehicle accident at 7:30 a.m. Thursday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mikhail K. Zalozh, 77, was driving west on Main Street Road, west of Quisenberry Road, as Mathew G. Curry, 22, of Columbia, was driving east. Both drivers crossed the center line and collided head on.

Zalozh was pronounced dead at the scene by Pettis County Deputy Coroner Brian Morley.

Curry was taken by private vehicle to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries.

Reports indicate Curry was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident but Zalozh was not.
