Mayview woman in serious condition after Johnson accident

Jacqueline A. Worley, 72, of Mayview, sustained serious injuries, and James D. Worley, 76, of Mayview, sustained minor injuries at 9:08 a.m. Monday in a Johnson County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, James Worley was driving south on state Route 13 bypass at Blackwater River in a 2002 Ford when he attempted to pass a 2001 Ford driven by an unknown passenger. Worley lost control, struck a guardrail, and overturned.

The Worleys were wearing seat belts. James Worley sought his own treatment. Jacqueline Worley was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. 

Two from California killed in Moniteau accident

Dakota D. Pace, 21, and Christopher W. Seeger, 23, both of California, Missouri, were killed at 12:07 a.m. Tuesday in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, both young men were occupants in a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, driver unknown, that was proceeding westbound on U.S. Highway 50 west of Countryside Road when it traveled off the right side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll over and eject both occupants, who were not wearing seat belts.

Moniteau County Coroner Marty Ramsdell pronounced Christopher Seger deceased on the scene at 12:50 a.m. University Hospital Dr. Jeffrey Coughnour pronounced Dakota Pace deceased on the scene at 1:01 a.m.
