Man injured in Johnson crash

A Lone Jack man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 8:53 p.m. Friday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Kaden A. Lamb, 18, was driving west on U.S. Route 50 at state Route Z when his vehicle struck ice on a bridge and traveled off the right side of the road and overturned.

Lamb, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Johnson County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Kansas City with minor injuries.

Knob Noster man seriously injured

A Knob Noster man suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 2:50 p.m. Saturday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gene A. Tesmer, 65, was driving east on U.S. Route 50, west of Northwest 751 Road, when he experienced a medical issue causing his vehicle to travel off the right side of the road and strike a tree.

Tesmer, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to by Johnson County Ambulance District to KU Medical Center.

Sedalia woman injured in accident

A Sedalia woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:47 a.m. Monday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Stephanie L. Sweeney, 47, was driving west on U.S. Route 50 at state Route MM when she slowed for traffic. Another westbound vehicle driven by David R. Taylor, 48, of La Monte, struck the rear of Sweeney’s vehicle.

Sweeney, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center with minor injuries.
