Montrose 17-year-old injured in Henry accident

A 17-year-old male from Montrose received serious injuries at 5:55 p.m. Sunday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving south on Highway K South of Southwest 603 Road in a 2005 Ford F150 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.

The juvenile was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Life Flight Eagle Air to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.

Sedalia 17-year-old hurt in Henry accident

A 17-year-old female from Sedalia received minor injuries at 9:40 a.m. Monday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, she was driving south on Route C one mile east of Route 7 in a 2006 Chevrolet when she traveled off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to cross the center of the roadway, and strike a northbound 2011 Ford driven by Luke W. Jennings, 44, of Green Ridge.

Both drivers were wearing a seat belt. The juvenile female was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by a private vehicle. 

Montana man injured in Morgan motorcycle accident

Joseph P. Salzman, 46, of Billings, Montana, received moderate injuries at 3:03 a.m. Monday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Salzman was traveling south on Route MM at Ritchie Road on a 2004 Suzuki DL1000 when he traveled off the roadway and struck a tree. He was not wearing a helmet and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Mid-Mo Ambulance District.

Sedalia woman injured in Pettis three-car accident

Katherine Anders, 78, of Sedalia, received moderate injuries at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2017 Subaru Outback driven by Roderick W. Bollinger, 33, of Sedalia, was westbound on Route Y at Quisenberry Road when he slowed to make a left-hand turn. A 2002 Toyota Camry, also westbound, driven by Isaiah Owens, 20, of Sedalia, diverted attention off the roadway and struck the rear of a 2019 Honda Civic driven westbound by Anders.

All drivers were wearing a seat belt. Anders was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
