A 12-year-old boy suffered minor injuries at 7:35 p.m. Thursday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the boy was driving a Suzuki Quad sport ATV north on McCurdy Road. He attempted to make a U-turn in front of a 1998 Ford F150 driven north by a 16-year-old girl from Hughesville and was sideswiped.
The truck driver was wearing a seat belt but the ATV driver was using a safety device. He was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
Crystal D. Gilmore, 21, of Sweet Springs, suffered minor injuries at 9:25 p.m. Thursday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gilmore was driving a 2022 Nissan Altima north on Highway 65 when she struck a deer in the roadway.
She was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall by private vehicle.
Vicki A. Lee, 69, of Brandon, Mississippi, was seriously injured at 3:50 p.m. Thursday in a Saline County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lee was driving a 2020 Kia Sorento east on I-70 and slowed to turn left into the median crossover, causing traffic to back up. A 2017 Ford F-350 swerved to avoid the traffic and struck the driver's side of the Kia in the crossover.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Lee was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Saline County Ambulance District.
