Cole Camp man in serious condition after Johnson accident

Zachary C. Riley, 28, of Cole Camp, sustained serious injuries at 5:20 a.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Chevrolet driven by Riley west on U.S. Highway 50 struck the rear of a 2001 Kenworth driven by Michael A. Klamert, 47, of Atlanta.

Klamert was wearing a seat belt but Zachary was and he was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. 

Kingsville man hurt in Johnson accident

John K. McRoy, 64, of Kingsville, sustained minor injuries at 4:25 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, McRoy was driving a 2003 Ford F150 west on Route TT when he fell asleep and his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a culvert. He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District. 

Sedalia man in serious condition after Johnson accident

Alejandro Salazar-Padilla, 27, of Sedalia, sustained serious injuries at 6:15 p.m. Friday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Salazar-Padilla was driving east on U.S. Highway 50 in a 2008 Saturn Aura when he traveled off the right side of the road and his vehicle struck a ditch, overturned, and struck a tree. 

He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by Life Flight air ambulance.
