Edwards woman hurt in Benton accident

Shawncee D. Adkins, 32, of Edwards, sustained minor injuries at 11:12 a.m. Monday in a Benton County accident

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Nissan Sentra driven by Ira L. Todd, 22, of Sedalia, was pulling out of a private driveway onto U.S. Highway 65 near Route C and failed to yield to a 2011 Kia Sorento driven north by Theress K. Geyer, 58, of Columbia.

Everyone was wearing their seat belt. Adkins was transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center. 

Edwards man in serious condition after Benton accident

Gary L. Brown, 79, of Edwards, is in serious condition after an accident at 6:58 p.m. Monday in Benton County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brown was driving south on Route 7 south of Turkey Creek in a 2015 Ford F150 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Life Flight to University Hospital in Columbia. 

Poplar Bluff man in serious condition after Johnson motorcycle accident

Bradley J. Toole, 39, of Poplar Bluff, is in serious condition after an accident at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Toole was driving a 2018 Honda CBR600 north on Route T at CR SW400 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway. The motorcycle overturned and ejected the driver.

Toole was wearing a helmet and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Research Medical Center in Kansas City. 

Sedalia 15-year-old injured in Pettis accident

A 15-year-old Pettis County female sustained moderate injuries at 5:45 p.m. Monday in a Pettis County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the girl was driving a 2006 Yamaha north on Woodland Drive south of Hedge Apple Drive when she stood up while the vehicle was in motion and fell from the vehicle. 

She was exempt from wearing a seat belt in this type of vehicle and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by Life Flight.

Sweet Springs man in serious condition after Saline accident 

Stephen R. Vickrey, 64, of Sweet Springs, is in serious condition after a Saline County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Vickrey was driving west on Route 20 near Boxelder Avenue in a 2014 Ford Fusion when he traveled off the south side of the road, struck a private driveway, became airborne, and overturned.

Vickrey was wearing his seat belt and was transported by MU Air to University Hospital in Columbia.
