Versailles man injured in Morgan motorcycle accident

Don H. Humphreys, 72, of Versailles, sustained moderate injuries at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday in a Morgan County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Humphreys was driving a 1996 Honda Goldwing east on Route TT at Old 5 Road when he traveled off the east side of the roadway and struck a ditch.

Humphreys was not wearing a helmet and was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. 

Three from Versailles hurt in Morgan accident

Alexandria S. Newcomb, 24, of Versailles, sustained moderate injuries, and Timothy W. Murray, 25, and Wesley T. Shipley, 33, both of Versailles, both sustained minor injuries at 2:22 p.m. Wednesday in a Morgan County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Murray was driving a 2016 Toyota Avalon North on Ivy Bend Road south of Reeder Road when he suffered a mechanical failure and lost control. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Newcomb was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Mid-Mo Ambulance District. Murray was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Lake West Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital. Shipley was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.
