12-year-old boy hurt in Benton accident 

A juvenile male from Trenton received minor injuries at 9:35 p.m. Sunday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Kia Sorento driven by Kenneth L. Hall, 66, of St. Joseph, was headed south on Route 7 when it struck a deer.

Both occupants were wearing seat belts. The juvenile was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. 

Oak Grove man in serious condition after Henry accident

Jackson D. Cain, 19, of Oak Grove, sustained serious injuries at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cain was driving a Chevrolet Malibu east on Route 7 when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. 

Jefferson City woman injured in Moniteau accident

Yolanda M. Blandford Paton, 65, of Jefferson City, sustained moderate injuries at 1:08 p.m. Saturday in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Paton was driving a 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser south on U.S. Highway 50 westbound at the U.S. Highway 50 connector when she attempted to cross the westbound lanes and was struck by a 2016 Jeep Wrangler driven by Amanda R. Clutter, 30, of Tipton.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Paton was transported by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City.
