Jefferson City woman in serious condition after Moniteau accident

Erika Castro, 18, of Jefferson City, sustained serious injuries Sunday in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Castro was driving west on U.S. Highway 50 in a 2022 Honda Accord when she traveled off the right side of the road, struck two MoDOT signs, a bridge support, and overturned.

She was wearing a seat belt and was transported by MU Air to University Hospital in Columbia. 

Jefferson City man injured in ATV accident 

Jamari C. Todd, 19, of Jefferson City, sustained moderate injuries at 8:48 p.m. Sunday in Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Todd was driving south on Mount Hope Road in a 2002 Yamaha Raptor 700R when he crossed the centerline of the road, traveled off the left side of the road, struck a pile of rocks, and was ejected.

Todd was not wearing a helmet and was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs by Mid-Mo Ambulance District. 

Bolivar man hurt in Hinton accident

Jonathan Nelson, 33, of Boulevard, sustained minor injuries at 3:57 a.m. Monday in a Benton County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Nelson was driving north on Kullman Road north of Route H in a 2005 Dodge when he began to skid, crossed the center of the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and overturned. 

It is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt. He was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Cole Camp Ambulance District.

Adrian teen hurt in Henry roll-over

A 16-year-old male from Adrian sustained minor injuries at 8:55 a.m. Monday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, he was driving a 2012 Volkswagen east on Route 7 at County Road NW 401 when he lost control of the vehicle, traveled off the roadway, and overturned. 

He was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Belton Regional Hospital in Belton by Golden Valley EMS.
