Hughesville team in serious condition after Pettis crash
Ty P. Hart, 19, of Hughesville, sustained serious injuries at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hart was driving a 2009 Toyota Prius south on Highway FF north of NE 700 Road when he failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the left side of the road, became airborne, and struck an embankment.
He was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
